“Ripened on the Vine”

I love tomatoes! After purchasing several fresh tomatoes on the vine from a local farmers market, I couldn’t resist painting these lovelies on a mat board that I had previously prepared. Needless to say, my subject matter didn’t very long after modeling for me. yummy-licious!

The has been professionally framed using a wonderfully textured jute mat board accented with a black fillet to accompany a sleek black frame with a line of beige to match the mat.

The original painting was created using pastels on a textured mat board.
