Description

“The Ritz Theatre – 1950’s”

This paintng was created as a commissioned piece that is now at home in the City Hall of Sanford, Florida. I was thrilled with the challenge of depicting the theatre as it once was back in the 1950’s. I gathered old photos of the building and cars from that era. Then, I drew out this  scene of the theatre as I imagined it would have looked like in those days. The Ritz Theatre has since been renovated and is now known as the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center. This limited Edition Giclee’ is sized at 16″ x 22″, printed on high quality canvas and is accompanied with its Certificate of Authenticity.

When you purchase a limited edition print, 25% will be donated to the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center.

This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the canvas’ surface creating natural color transitions.
Each giclee’ is enhanced with hand applied, clear acrylic brushstrokes by the artist for added authenticity and texture. It is signed on the front and back and  includes a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity by Rae Marie
